SIDNEY WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. HE WAS LIKED BY ALL HE KNEW. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS . MAY HE REST IN PIECE.
I was saddened to hear Sydney passed away. He was the pastor at my mother's funeral a few years back. I used to live with his Grandmother Mrs Smith when in my 20's. May he rest in Peace
To all Sid’s family you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May Sid’s sleep be short. God Bless.
SO SORRY TO HEAR OF SIDNEY'S PASSING. WE REALLY ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HIM AT THE LAST REUNION. HE WAS A FUN AND NICE GUY.
A great team mate, always played hard, loved his laugh. More men should follow SID's way of life, always upbeat and treated people and friends as he wanted to be treated! Will make a great team mate in heaven!!!
Sid was a really good friend mine in the senior softball world. We traveled and played together in many softball tournaments around the states.Sid was one of the most humble, easy going person I have ever known. It was always a pleasure being around him and playing softball with, he had one of the strongest arms, playing catch with him would make my hand hurt after a few throws! I wish I would have looked him up after our softball days , just to chat about old times.
Oh, the memories of the early 60’s of the three of us driving to ASTC in Don’s TR-3 (built for two). This all before Sid transferred to Uof A. What a sweet friendship for all of us - even Annette’s sister Ruth Lynne tutored Don in Geometry. He was precious and the last time we saw Sid was on the Ark Bible School Grounds. Love from us, Don and Linda Dianne Stephens.
My condolences to Sidney's family. I left the area after high school, but have fond memories of Sidney and from the messages left by others he was very respected.
Met Sid several years ago while obtaining license and permits for ADEQ. Sid was heck of a good guy. I’m proud to have known him. Sorry for your loss.
Although I did not see Sidney very often over the last few years, he will still be missed. We were good friends for over 70 years. 'There are good ships, there are wood ships, there are ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships, may they always be.' I will miss you, Sidney.Gene
