Hello Dorothy. I have thought of you and your family so much after we moved from Arkansas. Ward and Cindy and Lisa and Denny had many wonderful hours playing together. I'm glad you are now pain free and home with your family. My love and thoughts go to Lisa and Denny and their families. God bless!

Dorothy and I first met in the 1st grade. Growing up we had many sleepovers, and went to many football games, band, and band trips. Dorothy always called me “Norma Faye”, until some time in high school. Dorothy meeting Pierce, their marriage, and our girls Lisa and Dianna playing together. Over and over me having to apologize for Dianna (my little biter) taking a “love bite” on Lisa’s back when playing together.
Seeing Dorothy later in life when Mimi was making or repairing an outfit.
These are all very fond old memories. Dorothy, you will be missed.
Forever friends, Norma Faye (Davenport) Harl

My prayers are with you all during this time and even though we know she is in no more pain and no more suffering we will miss her for sure. But what a reunion she had when your daddy met her at the gates of Heaven. They both were the best neighbors anyone could ask for because they all watch out for each other on their corner of Rose City and when my mamas lawn mower went down your daddy just brought his new one over and said anytime I need it to just come get it and gave me a key what a couple they were.

She will be truly missed by her beauty shop friends. What a truly Great time we had on Fridays. We even had coffee cups for us to all celebrate together. She was my friend my neighbor For many many years. She always told you what she thought like it or not . you always knew where she stood a truly good friend .. I miss her always. She is complete and back with Pierce. Hope heaven is ready for that red head. Lots of LOVE COMING YOUR WAY.
