She was born on March 27, 1935 in the serene town of Doyle, Tennessee. Margaret was a woman of grace, warmth and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and cherished friend. Her heart overflowed with love for her children, Don Grissom, Jeff and Sheila Grissom, Greg and Sandy Grissom and her treasured grandchildren, James, Maggie, Faith, Bree and Jenna Grissom. She also experienced the joy of being a great-grandmother to Emma and Jacob. Margaret was very close to her sisters, Gloria, Janette and their families as well.

She imparted knowledge and wisdom as a revered third-grade teacher at Bragg Elementary and Richland Elementary within the West Memphis School District. Beyond her professional and religious pursuits, Margaret found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She possessed a green thumb and delighted in cultivating a vibrant garden adorned with an array of flowers. Margaret's heart swelled with happiness when surrounded by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relishing in their laughter and creating cherished memories.

A service honoring Margaret's life and legacy, will be held at the First Baptist Church at 200 North Missouri Street in West Memphis, AR. I fondly remember Mrs. Grissom. She was my 4th grade teach in what was I think her first year of teaching at Bragg. She was so warm and such a good teacher. I have thought about her many times over the years. Sending my deepest sympathy to her family. I'm thinking of her now cradled in the arms of our Lord.

Margaret was a coworker more years ago than either one of us would care to mention. When she retired she remained a friend. She loved her family and was always talking about them. She will be missed by so many. My prayers are with you all.
