Billy Boren Burns, 92, of Heth, AR, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Mr. Burns was born on January 14, 1931, to Robert Alex Burns and Willie lee Boren Burns in Heth, AR.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was previously an Elder at Missouri Street Church of Christ in West Memphis, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Joy Shelly Burns; one son, Mike Burns (Lou) of Marked Tree, AR; one daughter, Barbara Burns Dailey (Marty), of Richmond, KY; and two sisters, Margie Stinson, of Carthage, MS and Pat Baumgarten (Richard) of Stone Mountain, GA; and a host of extended family.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Bobbie Francis Frost; and two brothers, Jimmy and Jack Burns.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM for visitation at Wynne Church of Christ in Wynne, AR. Funeral Services will be from 1-2:00 PM with burial to follow at Parkin Cemetery in Parkin, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Paragould Children's Home 5515 Walcot Rd, Paragould, AR 72450. www.childrenshomes.org

Mike , I’m so sorry to see the news of the loss of your Dad. When I last saw y’all, in Forrest City at the Ole Sawmill , he was so alert and talkative. He was such a nice man and always had a kind word. He will surely be missed in the community.

Mr Burns was a very fine Christian man who served many years as an Elder of the WM church of Christ. He helped start the Earle AR church. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.
