Billy Samuel Brown, Sr, 89, of Crawfordsville, Arkansas, passed away January 22, 2023. He was born July 23, 1933 to J.D. and Era Brown in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He retired business owner in West Memphis as a petroleum and repair shop. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Brown; parents; son, Jimmy Lee Brown; sisters, Christine Littlejohn, Jimmie Dee Beene, Frances Beene and Marie Landry and grandson, Shane Pedigo.
Billy is survived by sons, Sammy Brown (Linda), Jacky Brown (Cindy); daughter, Carol Pedigo (Randy); grandchildren, Chance Brown, Hope Brown, Jimmy Brown, Trey Brown, Kristy Fowler and Jason Pedigo; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Brown, Ashlyn Fitzgerald, Caitlin McAlpin, Evan Fowler, Copelin Chapman, Chamlin Collier, Noah Brown, Colton Pedigo, Austin Pedigo, Georgia Pedigo, Meg Pedigo and Nate Pedigo; great-great grandchildren, Olivia Fitzgerald, Locklen Wells and Cross Collier and sister, Mary Grace West.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 10, 2023 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine Street, West Memphis, AR with Cain Wheeler officiating.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 am.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.

Pop was our friend in many ways. We have many good memories of him and Mom. We always looked forward to the visits. He loved his time spent on a deer stand. We’ll miss him dearly but he’s in the best place a person can hope for.

"WHAT A MAN AND FRIEND"!!!!! Billy and I fished together, hunted together, flew airplanes together, went many miles together. I really enjoyed knowing Billy and was proud to call him my friend. My prayers are with the family.
