Clement Jackson McFarling, Jr. "Mac"
Mac entered his eternal Heavenly Home on January 16, 2023 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. Mac was born on March 21, 1945 in Sikeston, Missouri to parents, C.J. McFarling, Sr. "Bill" and Orvella H. McFarling.
Mac lived in Morehouse, Missouri during his school years and attended school there for 12 years. He was a graduate of the class of 1963.
Mac worked for Senack, a shoe company out of St. Louis, Missouri and they leased the shoe department at one of Memphis' well-known stores, Lowenstein's. While in Memphis at Lowenstein's, he met Laura C. McFarling, his wife of almost 48 years! Mac also worked at Southland Greyhound Racing and Casino in West Memphis for 25 years.
The highlight of their marriage is when God blessed them with a very "special" son, Clement Jackson McFarling, III, "Jack"!
Mac is predeceased by his parents, Clement Jackson McFarling, Sr. "Bill" and his loving mother, Orvella H. McFarling. Survivors include his loving wife, Laura C. McFarling and son, Jack McFarling.
Funeral arrangements are by Roller Citizens Funeral Home, 201 North Pine Street, West Memphis, AR 72301. Mac was a member of First Baptist Church of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Visitation and Service will both be held at the West Memphis First Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Burial will take place after at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Mac was an amazing man. His heart was so huge. He always looked out for me at Southland and even after we both left we kept in contact. Laura and Jack - I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Laura and Jack, it is because of Mr. Mac that we met. Mac was always my angel at Southland. He was always there for me professionally. I distinctly remember the first time I met Mac, and his personal care with his riders. I treasured his random calls and your posts checking in on us long after we moved. I will miss him, but am grateful he is no longer in pain and resting peacefully. We love you and Jack and pray for your comfort during this difficult time. Gods speed Mr. Mac.
