Gerald Michael Melton, 74, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born to Walter and Esther Melton on August 13, 1948 in Memphis Tennessee. Mike was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and a Draftsman by trade.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Melton.
Mike is survived by his son, Matthew Melton (Doris) of Sandy, Utah and sister, Michele Miller (E.J.) of Marion, Arkansas. He will be deeply missed by his three nieces, Natalie Ballantyne, EmmaLee Grimes and Lannie Miller.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Crittenden Memorial Park, 2206 Hwy 64 West, Marion, Arkansas with James Nichols officiating, with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a donation be made to the donors choice of charities.

I knew Mike growing up and school . Mike was a great friend with a mild mannered personality. He enjoyed working on his cars for sure .we will miss Mike and there’s a great reunion going on in heaven . God bless his soul and family . Gary🙏❤️

Mike and Dennis lived down the street from us on N Worthington. Dennis used to jump on the hood of our car and ride that way. Mike was a great guy back then.
