Although “Auntie Bettie” was not a blood relative that’s what she was to all us kids in the community. I have many wonderful memories of growing up with Terri, Billy, Kathryn and Linda, and all the other kids on Aden and surrounding streets. Bettie always had a compassionate nature, infectious smile and a laugh that always made everyone feel better. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you lay your mom to rest. God bless you all.
