Dorothy Mae Grammer, 78 years young of Floral, Arkansas passed away on September 5, 2021, at Unity Health Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born on September 29, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Josef Henry and Gertrud Eleanor Borcherding Resing. They relocated to Floral, Arkansas in 1976 where they have come to know this as home.
Dorothy attended Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas and received her Bachelor's degree and following graduation, she worked as the Office Manager for a Global Construction Firm.
Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death one sister Betty Resing all of Franklin Park, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years of marriage, Jerry Steve Grammer, SR; two sons, Steve Grammer and Joseph Grammer and wife; one daughter, Teresa Ellis and husband; 20 plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol and Marilyn; two special companions, their dogs, Jack and Jacob and other extended family and friends. Her greatest joy of all was her family.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, there is no service planned to date. A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be planned at a later date. The family has requested that any Memorial Donations be made to any of the following groups, American Heart Association, Breast Cancer or American Diabetes Association. All arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home of Searcy.
