Mrs. Emma was such a fine lady. I remember her as a sweet woman who always worked hard to take care of herself and her family. So sorry for your loss.
Emma Jean was a strong lady with a heart of gold. I remember well my daughter playing together with Jennifer and Petey while my mother-in-law took care of them during the summer. Emma is now in Jesus' arms and reunited with her loves Marvin and Petey. God bless her family.
Oh, how I’ll always remember her chicken and dumplings, her letting me spend the night, and her caring for me. Emmagene, as my mamaw called her would take care of us kids in Bassett, Arkansas where we shelled peas and ate from the mulberry tree! Precious memories! She had a heart of gold!
I loved Emma. Emma had a heart of gold, very hard working and always there to help others. I will forever be grateful for her friendship and love. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. With very sincere sympathy,Pamela Hammond Houston
