So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
In memory of Art and Ada. God bless 2 people that my family adored. You will be missed Art!
So glad to have visited a couple of times with Art in Tuacumbia. I was always so fond of him. He and Ada were there for my parents when I was born in Stevenson, Al. Their families were far away in AR. I can remember going to their trailer with Mom and Daddy and playing cards with them. I thought that was the neatest trailer because it had an "upstairs." They were both special to me â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Art gave me my carrier start in heavy equipment in 1971 when he hired me to be an Oiler on a dragline, I learned a lot from Art, he was a great boss, he and Ada were really good people, I was very fortunate to get to visit with Art in 2013. Rest In Peace Art Slaton, you are remembered fondly.
