Carroll Kelley, age 88 of Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at Premier Health in North Little Rock. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on August 31st, 1931 to Leck Kelley and Beryl Robertson Kelley.

Carroll was a combat veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart after being wounded in June of 1953. He also received a UN service medial, Korean service medal, National Defense service medal and 2 Bronze service stars. He began his working years at Kelley's city garage, working alongside his dad. When he moved to Little Rock he went to work for the Little Rock School District as a boiler operator and worked until his retirement. Carroll enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his dog, Teddy.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Kelley of Little Rock and Michele McCraw and husband Philip of Little Rock; two sisters, Bernece Myatt of Harrison and Ellalee Smith of Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

Carroll is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Patricia "Patsy" Horton Kelley, who passed away in 2007.

Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Friday, January 24th, 2020 at Marshall Memorial Gardens where Carroll will be laid to rest beside his wife Patsy, with military honors. Dr. Terry Coomer of Hope Baptist Church in Sherwood, Arkansas will be officiating the service. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the graveside and will be held at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Family and friends will serve as bearers.
