Shirley Marie Fannen, age 82, of Owasso, Oklahoma, formerly of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, after a short illness. Shirley was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Shirley was passionate about the care of her garden and the beautifying of her home. She was always doing something for someone else, in a most genuine act of service. She was a lady with many talents and skills. She was generous, hard-working, honest and kind, to name a few of her characteristics. She could look at any situation and see the best way to tackle it. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. She lived a beautiful life and will live on in our memories forever.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Ford B. Fannen of Eagle Mountain, Utah; two sons, Ford (Brad) of Eagle Mountain, Utah and Doug of Missouri; nine adoring grandchildren, Caitlin, Cole, Emily, Bonnie, Josiah, Natasha, Gage, Garrett, Tanner, as well as many loving great-grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Kelley; three sisters, Betty, Charlene and Gladys and her daughter, Michelle.

I will always remember Sister Fannen attending the LA Temple with me in January 1992. Very special memory of a special lady.
Shirley was a classmate of mine and such a sweet lady. Condolences to all the family.
