Louis Everett Sheets, of Lake City, AR passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 62. He was born September 19, 1960 in Jonesboro, AR to William and Everette (Welch) Sheets. Louis graduated from Nettleton Schools, where he was active in the band program. He loved reloading ammo and to fish in his younger years. Louis was a licensed scuba diver and enjoyed playing golf. He received an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering and worked as a truck driver for Crete Carrier Corp, he was also a member of the Elks Lodge.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Daniel Sheets; a brother, Daniel Sheets; and an infant granddaughter.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Louis include his loving wife of 14 years, Susie (Wood) Sheets; a son, Matthews Halbert; a daughter, Amanda (Andrew) Roberts; eight grandchildren and two brothers, Bill (Lynne) Sheets, Matthew (Dana) Sheets; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Sheets.

A memorial service will be held at 7pm Monday, January 9, 2023 at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Craig Lee officiating. A memorial visitation will precede the service beginning at 6 pm.
