Daniel Webster Thetford, 92, of Cash, AR passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home. He was born February 10, 1930 in Jonesboro, AR to Dallas and Fannie (Wortham) Thetford. Daniel was a farmer until retirement. He was a member and Deacon at Cash Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He loved hunting, fishing, reading his Bible and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dana Thetford; a granddaughter, Danielle Forrest; brother, Leonard Thetford and sisters, Della Watkins, Effie Jordan and Katie Taylor.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Clytie (Haines) Thetford; a son, Blane (Gwen) Thetford; a daughter, Vicki (David) Forrest; grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Thetford-Fiehtner, Michelle Forrest and Andrea (Nathan) Forrest-Smith and great-grandchildren, Olivia Thetford, Brooklyn Fiehtner, Kason Fiehtner, Quinn Bradley and Elliot Smith.
Chapel services will be 2 pm Friday, August 5, 2022 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Worley Cemetery.
The visitation will precede the service beginning at 12 pm (Noon) at the funeral home.
Jack Haines, Al Haines, Cash Haines, Mark Haines, David Forrest and Charles Lewellyn will serve as pallbearers. James Priest will serve as honorary pallbearer.
