Martha Newcomb, of Harrisburg, AR, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital at the age of 76. She was born March 7, 1945 in Missouri to Homer and Levy Ada Olenia (Calcoat) Chadwick. She worked for American Greetings and for the Harrisburg School system. She attended Drover Cowboy Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Charlie A. Newcomb; and five siblings.

Martha is survived by her sons, Charles (Angel) Newcomb, James (Dana) Newcomb and Paul (Sara) Newcomb; 10 grandchildren, Chassity Partain, Jordan Ragsdale, Allyson Meilke, Chelsley Dockins, Deanna Taylor, Iris Newcomb, Emily Newcomb, Ethan Newcomb, Makayla Newcomb and Kynlee Newcomb; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bo Chadwick; and numerous adopted children.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Chance Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin at 10 am until time of service.

Ethan Newcomb, Jordan Ragsdale, Parker Jones, Zach Taylor, Tommy Maloney and Brady Dockins will serve as pallbearers.
