Jane Prestidge, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday September 6, 2008, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. She was born in Chicago IL on May 10, 1927, to Peter and Jennie Renkema. Ms. Prestidge was retired from Frolic Footwear, a member of Nettleton Baptist Church and loved bowling, cards, meeting with the Sunday school class ladies.
She leaves behind her sons and their wives; Larry and Dale Prestidge of Merettia GA, Donnie and Sherry Prestidge of Jonesboro, Bill and Brenda Prestidge of Riverside CA and Danny and Pam Prestidge of Jonesboro; two daughters and their husbands, Sandy and Lloyd Frysto of Montgomery IL and Nancy and Alan Royal of Kansas City MO; a brother and his wife, Bob and Enid Renkema of Mesa AZ; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin "Dean" Prestidge; a sister, Grace Fedrowitz and a granddaughter, Kimberly Lynn.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Tuesday at Macedonia Cemetery, beginning at 1:00 pm, with Craig Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Lasting memorials can be made to St. Bernard's Hospice.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. It has been many years since I have seen her but I do remember she was a kind and loving woman. She is in a better place and one day soon we wil all be there with our loved ones, never to part again.

I am not up to coming to a funeral home right now as it is getting pretty close to the annversity of Robert's death of one year.
