I went to school with Mark as long as I can remember. I was always the, “fat” girl
in our classes but Mark was one of the few that never ever made hateful remarks. May God bring comfort in this time of grief. He was one of a kind and I always loved how he cared for rescue dogs, as that’s who he was. Jealous of all that bbq he showed off on facebook making me hungry many times. I know God has a special place all lined out for such a man as he. Prayers for the family.

Mark was a wonderful man! Our kids played ball together, he worked on all our stuff at UAMS, and we raced down highway 10 on the way to work. I haven’t seen him in a while but the last time I did he had a big smile on his face and was a happy man! Prayers to the family!! He will be missed!

Becky, the Powers team sure loved Mark. He was a leader, a mentor, a friend and a great cook. His smile was warm and his laugh put us at ease.
