Oh you did what I ask you not to do, guess you knew it was your time, but you were always that way. I am remembering all the stuff we got into growing up together. I figured you knew best because you were older than me ( 4 mo ) ,we would do whatever hair brain idea sounded good that day, we tried it..usually got caught, but fun while it lasted. I will always remember our growing up years and the laughs and tears we shared.
RIP Cuz, I love you and will miss you.

So sorry for the loss of Aunt Pat. She was a real character for sure. Her spunk and mighty spirit were always an inspiration to me. Like her sister, Bobbye, they pulled themselves up by the boot straps and brought themselves out of the cotton patch into a life of success and prosperity.

Back in the day when I was only about 13, I remember playing letter-tag with Aunt Pat. Yes, we actually used to write physical hand-written letters. She sent me some cockamamy story that was completely false but hilarious. I wrote her back a letter with similar content, and so on. This went on and on for a few months. Who could think up the craziest wild story to tell the other person. I know it sounds silly, but I remember thinking how important it made me feel because my Aunt Pat was paying attention to this silly little teenager.

There are lots of other fun stories I could tell about her, but let me just say she was a firecracker! Lots of love to the friends and family who will miss her now, but will be glad to be reunited with her at the feet of Jesus.
