Gary J. Charton, 72, peacefully passed away August 27. He was a proud and loving father to his surviving son, Paul Charton, and a proud and loving grandfather to his two surviving grandsons, Joseph Clemmons IV and Julian Charton II. He was a great big brother to his surviving sisters, Donna Lawhon and Joy Couch.

Many years ago I met Gary when he lived in an old house. I think off Markham or Cantrell.
He was a friend to me when I needed one.
It meant a lot. I was also friends with Steve.

Donna, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother, Gary. I loss my older brother, David, in 1992.
