Eddy, so sorry for your loss - I'm praying for you and the rest of the family. Like so many others, dating all the way back to the original Central days, your sweet mother was a fixture in my life from early childhood days to the present. As many others have already commented, she was such a sweet and kind person. And I can't recall ever seeing her without that big smile of hers - always such a joy and an encouragement to be around. She was always positive, interested in others, and always encouraging. And a good sense of humor - she could be so funny - we could always joke with each other and always get a good laugh. She was a wonderful example of a humble, serving, caring, Christian lady. She will be missed.

Eddy, Tim and I loved your mom!! Such a kind, sweet, compassionate soul. I don't believe I have ever seen her without a smile on her face. I always felt welcomed and loved when I was around Ruth. She was a wonderful example to me and I hope to be more like Ms. Ruth! We will be praying for you and your family.

When I first started Barrow Road, Jerry Berry and Ruth made a wonderful team. While taking care of the baptistry and equipment, for many of years, whenever I needed supplies I would go to Ruth and she would get me whatever I needed with a smile. You couldn't have asked for a better secretary than Ruth. She was one sweet lady and will be missed by us.

When I was a kid, I'd go up to the church building to decorate bulletin boards or help with VBS preparation while on summer break. She was working as the church secretary and was always so sweet to me. A gentle and kind spirit - really the embodiment of a Christian lady.

Ruth was a loving, Christian lady who was a fierce protector of her family. She was the best Grandma any child could hope for, and i will always treasure the memories she shared with Meagan and Mechan. My prayers are with the family as they honor a life well lived, a good and faithful servant.
