I didn’t know your son, but know he was awesome because you are his parents. Loving condolences.
We went through many battles together on and off field. You always had my back even when it wasn’t socially excepted by most. You never saw me as a black man but just a man and a friend. You invited me into your home and introduced me to your parents as “My Friend. “ You were genuine to me and with me. For that I thank you. You were example of what it is to be a man. I love you man. My brother from another mother!
May flights of angels sing him to his eternal rest. My deepest sympathies to the family.
Our thoughts and prayers for comfort are with you. With all of our love. Glen and Wyndy

I only had the pleasure of meeting Michael twice, but I can tell you that he left a lasting impression on me. He was so positive about life and the love for his family that was so apparent! I am proud to have met him and love his family! We are so blessed that they have chosen Mayflower to be there home! Johnia worked so hard to give him a forever home and this kind of love is rare. He got to enjoy some of the great things about the Lake. May God wrap his arms around his wife and kids, comfort them knowing he needed another special angel and will continue to watch over his beloved family! Prayers to all of his family!🙏🙏😪❤
Mike looks so much like Jerry! Such a sweet smile! My thoughts & prayers are with you & Jerry, Franceil🙏. I pray that all the wonderful memories of Mike & God’s loving arms will be a comfort to you.
It was great getting to know Mike when we would attend games at Henderson State. we discovered that we had something else in common —one of my nephews played on the World Series team with Mike back in 1978. What a blessing to know that with his heavenly body comes no more pain. Blessings on the family.
I had the privilege of working, playing golf, and basketball with Michael but the most important thing was that I knew he was my brother in Christ. There’s no doubt in my mind where he is today and those that have given their life to Christ are assured that they will see him again. See you in the future brother!! ❤️❤️
Rest Easy Nick praying for your family proud to call you friend
May God give you all peace in knowing he is with Jesus watching over all of you! He loved his girls, and I got to witness that first hand! He was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many!
