George Wayne Floyd, 70, died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his home in Clarksville. He was born April 8, 1952 in Sacramento, California, to Georgia O'Dell and Ruth May (Gist) Floyd. George was deeply devoted to his family and had a special fondness for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgia and Ruth Floyd.
George is survived by his loving wife, Minnie Frances Floyd; one son, Andrew Berner and wife, Sara; two daughters, Trisha Anderdon and husband, Wendell and Raelynn Cook; five grandchildren, Braydon Cook, Blake Cook, Cory Williams, Susie Morriss-Maez and Michael Berner; three great-grandchildren, Christina Maez, Alexis Williams and Tanner Williams; one sister, Kelly McFarland and husband, Kevin and one uncle, Frank Gist of Sacramento, California.
