James Leon Irving, 68, of, Clarksville, AR passed away May 02, 2021 in Russellville, AR. He was born September 17, 1952 to his parents, HR, and Lula (Stokes) Irving in Little Rock, AR. James enjoyed watching the Razorbacks, pestering his grandkids, spending time with his family, feeding the birds (Martins), visiting historic places, and working in the yard. He loved to have the neighbors compliment his yard. James retired from Arkansas State Highway Department District #8 as a Truck Driver, not someone that stood leaning on the shovel.

He is preceded in death by his parents HR and Lula (Stokes) Irving, two sisters Georgia Taylor and Mary Horvath; three brothers Harlan Irving, Larry Irving, and Frank Irving and one son Joshua Irving.

James is survived by his wife of 47 years Patsy (Hendrix) Irving; one daughter Shannon (Jimmy) Anderson of Vilonia; two sons, Brian Nichols of Sherwood, AR and Timothy (Samantha) Irving of Clarksville, AR; three grandsons, Joshua (Ashlyn) Anderson, John-David Baxter, and Jesse Irving; four granddaughters, Baylee Anderson, Alexandra Nichols, Eliza Nichols, and Alyssa Irving; two great granddaughters Marleigh Anderson, and Amelia Anderson; 11 brothers and sisters Emma Johnson of Spokane, WA; Robert Irving of Little Rock, AR; Dalton (Betty) Irving of Tulare, CA; Stella Westerman of Sherwood, AR; Margaret (Pete) Lasater of Fordyce, AR; Pat Berg of Coon Rapids, MN; Roger (Vicki) Irving of Greenbrier, AR; Brenda (Mark) Burkett of England, AR; Linda (James) Turnage of Greenbrier, AR; Janie (James) Fletcher of Wills Point, TX; and Ricky Irving of Benton, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 6:00 to 8 :00 PM at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 10:00 AM at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel with Darell Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England, AR.
