March 28, 1955 - March 10, 2026
Robert Edward ''Bob'' Thomas, of Scott, Arkansas, passed peacefully from this life into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Bob was born on March 28, 1955, at the U.S. Army Hospital in Würzburg, Germany, to Fletcher and June Thomas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, with service in both Germany and the United States. After his military service, Bob built a career as a financial advisor with Robert Thomas Financial.
Bob had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing, but some of his favorite moments were spent sitting on the porch, watching his dogs and horses and enjoying the quiet of the day. He was also a devoted Arkansas Razorbacks fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Benny Wayne Donaldson; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Bishop and Larry Norwood.
Bob leaves behind many who will cherish his memory, including his loving wife, Connie Sperry Thomas; his daughters, Brandi Thomas and Crissy Bazinet; his grandchildren, Austin O'Carroll, Marley Wier, and Tatum Bazinet; his brother, Jimmy Thomas (Connie); his sisters, Jackie Bishop, Suzi Norwood, and Barbara Harvey (Jackie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were like children to him.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

Oh, no! I just saw Bobby in the obits. What a great guy — he had a knack for making everyone feel loved in our mature adult years and was a heck of a lot of fun in school. I’ll miss him along with a host of others. Love and condolences to the family. 💐💙

Bobby was such a big part in our lives. Memories we will cherish forever. He was just a joy to be around. We love and pray for Connie and his entire family. While it has been a while, we have memories of our “reunion” dinner which I will hold close to my heart.

So so sorry Connie Bob was a great person 🙏🙏❤️❤️

So sorry to hear this. I’ll miss his gentle spirit, his humor and his laugh. We sure got into good trouble back n the day.

Connie, I am saddened to hear about Bob. Sending our love and praying you'll find comfort in the arms of Jesus.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I did not know him well, but I tried to say hello on Sunday when he was in church. I could tell he was a great man. I know he will be missed dearly. May God be with his wife, Connie, and the rest of the family .

Bob handled Irene Wassell’s, my Mother’s finances. In the process my sister, brother and I became friends. He will be missed. He was so looking forward to having fun in retirement. Prayers to his family.

We are praying for comfort and strength in the loss of your wonderful husband.

It has been an honor to have shared life with You. Peace be with You my Friend.

I am devastated that my Buddy has passed. He was such a care taker of our little group of old friends. He was a Wonderful Human Being. I find myself feeling so alone now. I will miss his phone calls. Godspeed Bobby, save me a place!! I love you Bro💔💔💔

Rest well Bob, enjoyed our friendship!!

Such a sweet childhood friend. And a good man. Fly high, my friend.

I’ve known Bobby since elementary school days and he was always a person I enjoyed sharing time with. I wasn’t close to Bobby in our adult years but he always brought a smile to my face when I ran into him. He will be missed!

He was one of a kind. He had s special place in my heart and many others also.

Gone too soon my friend, things won’t be the same without you. You will be missed. Praying God will comfort the Thomas Family and give you peace. Love you guys.

RIP my good brother, God speed on your journey. I’m 100% confident you heard the sweet words, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”…till we meet again-🙌🏻

I can't put into words how much Bobby meant to me and so many others. The memories pack my mind and heart. Bobby was more like a brother than a friend. I probably gave him more ketchup and starch than I could even buy now. His family became my family. I will always keep him on my heart.

Connie and family,
Bob was a man of deep faith and love. I’m so grateful for his friendship and the legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Connie and family, my heart is broken for each of you. Bobby and I were friends in high school and were teammates on the football team. We reconnected with each other over the past 4-5 years and I’m truly blessed and grateful that we did. Great man and I was honored to call him Friend.
Rest In Peace with Jesus my brother and we’ll catch up again soon when I’m finally called Home.
