Bobby Smith, 74, of Lula, Mississippi passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, March 6. 2026. He was born Tuesday, September 4, 1951 in Carthage, Mississippi to the late Oliver James Smith and Lena Waudean Mooney Smith. Bobby enjoyed race cars, truck, and fishing, wood working in his shed, and working in the yard.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Linda Smith of Lula, MS; son, Christopher Smith of Stray Horn, MS; daughter, Tammie Smith of Clayton, NC; granddaughter, Haley Madison Smith of Stray Horn, MS; step grandson, Tyler Bishop of Senatobia, MS; step granddaughter, Tabatha Wells of Conway, AR; two brothers, Ricky Smith of Greenville, MS and Ronnie Smith of Brandon, MS.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Lena Smith; brothers, Preston Smith of Carthage, MS and Glenn Smith of Tupelo, MS; twin grandsons, Nicholas and Dakota Wells of Clayton, NC; daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Smith of Stray Horn, MS.
