Bobby Gene Barbee, 84, of Monticello, formerly of Osceola, passed on Sunday, March 8, 2026. He was born in Luxora, AR, to Carl and Virgie Barbee on October 17, 1941. Bobby was retired from America Greetings, a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Osceola Fire Department, worked on a farm in his younger years, and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Osceola. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going hunting and fishing, working in his vegetable garden, carpentry, and metal detecting. Bobby is survived by his son: Mark Barbee (Martha) of Monticello; one grandchild: Dakota Barbee and great aunt: Hazel Herod. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Joe Barbee and uncle: Buddy Barbee.

Dear Mark Martha and Dakota,
Bless your dear family. You are special to our church and our town, and we thank God for you all.
