Roy Lee Markham, 74, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in his home on March 6, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Chester Franklin Markham and Mary Elouise Markham.

Roy proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a diesel mechanic and truck driver until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic and his passion for classic cars. Roy especially enjoyed building classic cars and spending time attending car shows with his brothers, where they could share their love of automobiles with others.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Franklin Markham; his mother, Mary Elouise Markham; and his sister, Laralice Rushing. Roy is survived by his son, Franklin Lee (Chessy) Markham; his brothers, John Markham, Raymond Markham, and Richard Markham; and his sister, Martha. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Brittany Wilson, Kallie (Patrick) White, Dalton Lee Markham and Carson Markham, one great-grandchild Zeb White, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 13, 2026 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home.
