James Roy Phillips, 74, of Conway, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026.He is survived by his two daughters, Kari West (Kevin) and Tara Passmore. 2 grandchildren, Carter West and Gracelynne Passmore. One sister Patsy Caudle (Charles), 4 brothers, Bobby Phillips, David Charles Phillips (Linda), Danny Joe Phillips, and Johnny Phillips. And a host of nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his father, William Jacob Phillips and stepmother Thelma Phillips. Brother, Dennis Phillips, and grandson Frankie Thompson Passmore.
He led a full life, always looking for fun, trouble, and excitement. He served in the Navy which just added to his already dedicated work ethic. He loved animals more than most people and would easily tell you his best friend was his Pomeranian, Moe. He had a laugh that was contagious and stuck with you. His passing leaves a void no one else can fill. While it's hard not having him here, we know he's been made whole and no longer suffering.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 6:00PM at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church in Conway. Visitation will be one hour prior at 5:00PM.
