Johny Lee Harris, age 78 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Friday, February 27th, 2026 at Highland Court in Marshall. He was born in the Red Hill Community of Searcy County, Arkansas on April 30th, 1947 to Johny Elbert Harris and Lydia Eva Lee Harris.

Johny was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He spent most of his working years as a drywaller in the construction industry. He was also an excellent heavy equipment operator and enjoyed driving a bulldozer. Johny enjoyed drinking coffee at the local coffee shops and visiting with all who stopped by. He also enjoyed a good strawberry milkshake or some of Harps fried chicken. He loved to aggravate and kid with all he came in contact with. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing when he was able. He loved his cats and dogs. Johny's family held a special place in his heart. His presence will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons, Billy Harris and wife Darla of Marshall and Wesley Harris, also of Marshall; his beloved grandchildren, Haley Jackson (William), Ashley Dixon, Billy John Harris Jr. and wife Paige and Nicole Harris; precious great-grandchildren, Makinlye Price, Lainye Dixon, Westin Dixon, Lillian Jackson, Emma Jackson, Asher Harris and Maverick Harris; one brother, Kenny Harris; and numerous extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Johny is preceded in death by his parents, Johny and Eva Harris; his wife, Pat Harris; and two sisters, Carol Harris and Susan Hoskinds.

Cremation services are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home of Marshall. No services are planned at this time.

I enjoyed the friendly discussions that we had with each other; he will be missed. He was always trying to help out when someone said they needed help even though he was not able to help out much he would give his all May the Lord give you wings to fly high
