I met Johnny when we attended vo-tech together in the early 70's. We were toolbox partners and I worked with Johnny at the service station his dad managed when we could. Johnny and I both went to work at Augusta at the same shop and spent lots of time together even including a brief try at dirt track racing. He was deeply in love with Carolyn then and although I had not seen him in years I still had good thoughts about knowing him. I'm so sorry for all the family in the loss of this good man.

Carolyn, Debbie, and Ms. Polk, I'm so sorry for your loss. Johnny and I have been friends for so long and became really close in high school. Carolyn, I remember when you and Johnny started dating. I can say without a doubt that you were the love of his life. I'm so happy that you two found each other.
