Phillip Leon Purdom, age 60, of North Little Rock peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 24th while in hospice care. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Betty Lewis Purdom; his grandparents Homer and Mae Purdom and Luther and Annie Lewis; and his beloved big sister Debra Gale Purdom.
He is survived by his sisters, Karen Gardner of Romance Arkansas, and Marsha Reagan of North Little Rock; brother Michael (Chong) of Georgia; nephews, Luke Gardner (Cari) and Chris Gardner (Lyn) all of North Little Rock, and Jeffery Reagan of the U.S. Air Force ; nieces Dewana Purdom of Tennessee, and Amber Reagan of North Little Rock; and aunts JoAnn Talbert, and Linda Lewis, and several great nieces.
Phillip was employed by Walmart for many years and Home Depot before his illness progressed. He was a member of North View Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock at 6801 JFK Blvd. where his memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and love for his family, his pets, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Since he was an avid Razorbacks fan, feel free to wear something red in his memory.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Phillip's passing, our "across the street" neighbor for 27 years. His friendship was one that we treasured and we always knew that it was he who relocated our trash and recycle bins back underneath our carport after the regularly scheduled pick up occurred and before we returned home from work. He was good soul, a wonderful neighbor and will be missed. Our hearts are with the Purdom Family in loving remembrance of our friend.

My thoughts and prayers for my brother. You will be truly missed. I will miss our daily talks we had. I know your your in no pain now your in Heaven❤️ your love for the Razorbacks was 2 to none when they won and loss. You truly loved your pets. I’ll see you again in Heaven!!!! With much Love❤️Mike & Chong. Love you brother!!!

So sorry for your loss!
May Our Heavenly Father wrap His loving arms around each of you and comfort you like only He can do.
Rest in Love Friend!

II like to remember Phillip as the little boy who would run the short distance from his house to where his Granny and Grandpa Lewis lived. They never knew when he might pop in. And many times it might be the highlight of the day.Other times it could' be one of his four siblings who brought them joy. These were my parents who doted on them and relished the love they received in return.Even though their rules for them were a bit slacker than the ones of my upbringing, it was one of the many things I admired about them because of the joy these and all of their grandchildren brought to them. Rest in peace, Phillip. Granny and Grandpa are waiting for you.

So sorry for your loss but one thing I know he’s not in pain anymore. He’s in heaven.
Prayers for the family

Phillip was a kind soul, this family grew up with me and I am deeply sorry for the loss they are experiencing, but look up Phillip is with Jesus and has no more pain.
