Lakelyn Rhea Rose was born into Heaven on February 21, 2026, at 9:51 a.m., weighing 4 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 17.5 inches of red-headed perfection. Though her time in her parents' arms was far too brief, her life has left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of all who love her.
Lakelyn is the cherished daughter of Callie and Matthew, and the precious baby sister of Gunnar and Harley. She is also lovingly survived by her devoted grandparents - Blake Culbreath (Sara); Jana Haskins (Jeff); and Melissa Niceschwander (Dorsen); her great-grandparents - Judy Fletcher (the late Odis Fletcher); Dural Culbreath (the late Dailene Culbreath); Carolyn Simon (the late Dr. William Simon); Melinda Hitchcliff; and Rubean and Joyce Rose; her aunts and uncles - Cainan Culbreath (Lilly); Kailyn Locke (Corey); Christian Byrd (Mark); Ashley Williams (Bruce); Aaron Cope (Michaela); and Stephen Fletcher; and a host of other loving family members and dear friends who eagerly awaited her arrival. Each of them holds her memory close and will forever cherish the gift of her life. She was welcomed into Heaven by her Papa and Mam-Maw, who surely ran to hold her close. While her family longs to hold her here on Earth, they find comfort in knowing she is wrapped in eternal love.
From the moment she was known, Lakelyn was deeply loved. She was dreamed of, prayed for, and celebrated. Her tiny hands and perfect features will forever be etched in the hearts of her family. Though she never spoke a word, her life has spoken volume,of love, of hope, and of the unbreakable bond between parents and their child.
Her family finds comfort in knowing Lakelyn is not alone in Heaven. She joins two other precious babies from their dear friend group, forming a trio in Heaven just as there is a trio of little ones here on Earth all of them forever watched over and deeply loved.
Lakelyn is so dearly missed and forever treasured by a village of family and friends who will carry her memory always. In the quiet moments of longing and in the hope of Heaven, her family holds close the promise of Scripture from Mark 10:16 (ESV):
''And He took them in His arms and blessed them, laying His hands on them.''
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Mike Book and Randy Lingenfelter officiating. A private burial will follow.
Visitation will be held before the service beginning at 10:30am.
