of Little Rock, AR
March 22, 1955 - February 18, 2026
Jennifer ''Jennie'' Owen Cole, 70, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2026.
Born on March 22, 1955, in West Lafayette, Indiana, Jennie grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri, where she studied Home Economics, a field that reflected her practical sensibility and creativity.
Jennie married the love of her life, Roger Cole, in 1986 at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Together they built a life centered on family and shared traditions.
Early in her career, Jennie worked in publishing before stepping away to devote herself to raising her family. Once her children were in school, she embraced her independent spirit and in 2003 opened Crown Trophy in Little Rock. She proudly owned and operated the business for more than two decades, helping celebrate countless milestones across the city, championships, academic achievements, retirements, and community accomplishments. She believed in recognizing hard work and took pride in doing things the right way.
Jennie was strong-willed, boisterous, and fiercely independent. She stood firm in her convictions and was never afraid to speak her mind. Her sincerity and righteous sense of right and wrong were matched by a dry sense of humor that those closest to her especially treasured.
She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to Callie Cole, Chris Cole and his wife Nikki, and Carter Cole and his wife Hailey. She was a proud parent of Pulaski Academy and valued the years spent supporting her children in their school activities and accomplishments. Her most treasured role was being ''Gramma'' to her granddaughter, Harper Cole, who brought her deep pride and joy. Jennie was also excitedly anticipating the arrival of another grandchild this fall to Chris and Nikki.
Jennie loved cheering on the Razorbacks, whether making the trip to Fayetteville or tuning in from home.
On Friday nights, she could often be found in her and Roger's usual spot at the bar at Chenal Country Club.
Jennie is survived by her husband, Roger Cole; her mother, Mary Owen; her brother, Jay Owen and his wife, Linda, of Tucson, Arizona; her children and granddaughter; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George Owen, and her brother, Jack Owen.
A visitation will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at Chenal Country Club at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors to the celebration of life in her honor.
Jennie will be remembered for her strength, her conviction, and the pride she took in her family and community. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved and in the many trophies across Little Rock that quietly bear her touch.

LEARNED OF JENNIES PASSING HEAR ON FB .i FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN BY A TON OF BRICKS SO HEART BREAKING. MY HEARTFELT WARMTH AND THOUGHTS SENT TO ROGER,CALLIE ,CHRIS AND CARTER, ALONG WITH CHRIS AND CATERS WIVES WITH

Thinking of Roger, Callie, Chris, Carter and family.
We will not forget Jennie…and specifically recall her purposeful actions taking turns with others looking out for neighborhood friends/children with her “slow down” street reminder…they could more safely walk to & from yards/pool, play in driveways, ride bicycles & skate street side.
There were scrapes & crying as well as great memories.
Our heartfelt sympathies to you all as you navigate without her yet know she is with you.
Ann, Jim, Marissa, Janelle Pacheco

I’m heartbroken for Roger and the kids. What a special Mom you all had! She was a great neighbor, we spent many hours together out in our front yards while our kids ran from yard to yard! Till we meet again Jennie RIP

Roger, Terri and I were very saddened to hear about Jennie. So sorry for your loss and we send our Prayers for Jennie, you, and the Family .❤️🙏🏻

Praying for God to wrap His loving arms around you all during this time. Jennie possessed a very big personality and brought laughter to those around her! I doubt she ever met a stranger! She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Many wonderful memories of Jennie and me teaching vacation Bible school at St James and later being neighbors. I admired her for her kindness, sense of humor and her genuineness. Prayers of peace for you all and many blessings for the legacy she leaves with you.

Jennie was one of the kindest people I've ever known and her sharp wit was sometimes very cutting and other times hilarious. She was an advocate for me during my career, she lifted my family up during our loss and she was a wonderful mentor to my children at Pulaski Academy. Our deepest condolences to Roger, the kids and grandkids. How blessed we were to have known Jennie Cole. -The Lee's

What a great girlfriend to work with back in the day of textbook publishing in Dallas! And then to be blessed with having her move to Arkansas and become a fellow Razorback fan that I got to tailgate with and share in the special love of our Hogs. Jennie went on to have a successful trophy business there in Little Rock, a business my father has dabbled in years before at his sporting goods store. The world was a better place with Jennie's smile and contagious love of life. Rest in peace, my friend.

Our most heartfelt sympathy Roger and Callie, Chris and Carter. May your memories of Jennie be a blessing and help to ease your loss.

I was fortunate enough to help Jennie around the shop for the past several months. She was a pleasure to work with.
I wish her family all the best and am so sorry for this loss.. She spoke of you all quite often.
"Life is grand" She would always say..."Life is grand"

RIP dear Jennie. Your precious family will carry your love forever.

A beautiful well written tribute to Jennie, describing her life beautifully. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss.

Today I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jennie’s passing. She and I worked at a college textbook publishing company in the 1980s. I invited her to my church with our amazing Sunday school group and softball team. She took a liking to the coach, Roger. Today I am thinking of him and his family with deepest condolences, prayer, and love.

Roger and family, So sorry to hear about jennie. Thoughts and prayers to you and the family. 🙏

Big hugs and prayers for all. Jennie was a beautiful soul. I really will miss seeing her at our summer meetings. Her quick wit and strength were always inspiring.

Jennie will be missed by all who knew her. I will especially miss her pride in her children and her common sense approach to life.

I remember going to the baseball game with her and talking about trash bags she will be missed

My dearest Callie Cole and family, my heart goes out to you all in this time of sorrow. I hope you find comfort knowing how many lives she touched everyday and will continue to through her legacy and life of caring for others. My thoughts and prayers are with all the Coles❤️

I am in a state of shock hearing the news. I always spent time with her at the Crown Meetings and will miss seeing her big smile. Jennie and her family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

We met Her and Roger through Sunday school. We got married within weeks of each other. Our prayers go out to her family!

Our deepest and most sincere condolences. We are so sorry for your loss.

Rest In Peace Jennie. Praying for your family.

This was a shock. Jennie and I worked together almost 50 years ago, when we were both starting out in publishing. Briefly, her father, George, was my boss. Our paths went in different directions but through Facebook we remained in touch. awe communicated as recently as two weeks ago. My deepest sympathy to all her family. She was a wonderful woman.

Our hearts and prayers are with you Roger and the entire family. We are so sorry to hear about your loss of such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. We will forever be grateful for the encouragement and love Jennie shared with all our children over the years.

So sorry to hear of her passing. Roger and Jenny were two of our wonderful friends in our Sunday School class. We did so many activities together with them and our class. Love you both.
🙏🙏🙏

We loved Jennie and are praying for the whole family during these hard times of losing someone they love so much.

Roger - Our prayers are with you & your family. May Jennie RIP!

I am deeply saddened by Jennie's passing. I always looked forward to seeing her at our annual Crown Trophy meetings and sharing a meal or two with her. I loved that the two of us would just "tell it like it is" with each other regardless of the topic. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Jennie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, employer and coach. If your child was born in the 1990s or first decade of the 2000s, then Jennie Cole was their first swim coach. She was a wonderful, Christian woman who quietly practiced her Christian values while "boisterously" joking around with every person that would stop by her store. She will be sorely missed by the entire community and by me.

So sorry for your loss. I'm glad I was able to visit with her last October

My deepest condolences to family and friends. She was a very special lady. Such joy recalling summer vacations together at Ensenore. She will be missed but forever remembered. Cousin Tim.

Max and I are in disbelief about this great loss for your family. Jennie was a great friend and mentor to us when we were new store owners. She was always willing to help and had the nicest way about everything. We enjoyed talking about our favorite person - her granddaughter and my grandson. Joy Joy Joy beyond measure. We are so sorry for you all.

Sweet Jennie Cole was such a light in this world. I loved every minute that I spent at her house growing up running around with Carter and our crew. After high school, she became one of my favorite people to keep up with on Facebook where she always had something funny to say. After moving back to Little Rock post-college, I loved running into her and hearing her beam about her family. I remember witnessing her pride and joy shortly after Carter & Hailey welcomed their sweet child into the world. She loved that little one, her children, Roger & the whole West Little Rock / Pulaski Academy community so well. Praying for the whole Cole family in this time of grief and celebration of life.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family.
