John Wesley Jarrett III (Jack Jarrett), aged 90, passed away on August 30, 2025, in Maumelle, Arkansas. He was born on December 11, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas. His parents were John Wesley Jarrett, Jr. and Marian King Jarrett.
Jack grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1952 and received his bachelor and law degree from The University of Texas. After law school, he served from 1958-1961 in the United States Air Force as a JAG officer. He was based at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
As a young boy he traveled through the western United States. His father John, worked for E.C. Barton and Company, and Marian and Jack would travel with him in the summers as he visited lumber operations in the west. After Jack retired, he continued traveling across Europe with his companion, Josephine Parent.
Jack is survived by his sons, Michael Edward Jarrett and John Wesley Jarrett IV, his grandchildren, Michael Edward Jarrett, Jr and Rachel Susan Jarrett and many friends, including Chris Parent and Charlene Akins. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Parker.
Services for Jack are pending. Roller Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock, Arkansas is assisting the family during this time.

Jack was a great guy. We miss him so much. Especially our early morning walks with Parker and Rita. God bless your soul Jack.
