Stephen ''Steve'' Hadder Sr., better known to family and friends as ''Big Country,'' was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend who left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Steve was a man whose presence filled a room, not just in stature, but in heart. His nickname, ''Big Country,'' reflected more than a name; it represented his larger-than-life spirit, generous nature, and the steady strength he offered to those he loved. He was a protector, a provider, and the kind of man people could count on without hesitation.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Jenifer Hadder of Helena; his children, Kimberly Rodriguez (Juan) of Jonesboro, Stephen Hadder II of Jonesboro, and Jesse Carl Hadder (Rachael) of Helena; his twelve grandchildren, Jersey, Jordyn, River, and Greenlee Rodriguez, Levi Hadder, Ava, Victoria, Carlee, Sawyer, and Jacob Hadder, Hailey and Gracie Roach; his three great-grandchildren, Drake and David Rodriguez, and Everleigh Hadder; his mother, Sandra Hadder of Helena; his brothers, Keith (Lisa) Hadder, and Mark Hadder of Helena; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished family and friends. He also left behind his in-laws, Carl and Ann Hamilton of Strawberry, and brother-in-law, Tony (Rhoda) Hamilton of Oklahoma.
Though words cannot fully capture the depth of his character, those who knew him will remember his strength, his heart, his humor, and the way he made them feel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Hadder, and brother, Michael Hadder.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Davenport, Clyde Coley, Billy Davenport, Jeffery Peeples, Kaleb Bevel, Lil' Randy Davenport, and Seth Whaley.
