Ruth Ellen and the "Hughes Bunch" have been such a blessing and encouragement for years to me at Bible Study. They have truly been angels this past year. Ruth Ellen and I shared a love of old hymns. We laughed about how we wanted to be in the old hymn part of heaven. I know she is there enjoying the music and I will see her again. Thank you ,Ruth Ellen , for inspiring me to turn my eyes upon Jesus. It is well with your soul forever. May we all follow your example to trust and obey and rejoice together when we all get to heaven.

Any time spent with her, no matter how brief, was a joyful blessing: such integrity of character and unshakable faith--loving, funny, a great friend, mother, grandmother, sister, wife and Christian, in the true sense of the word.
