Kennith (Ken) Ray Arbaugh, age 91, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully into his Lord's hands on February 3, 2026, in. Ken was born in Oark, Arkansas on November 2, 1934 to his parents Chester and Iva (Long) Arbaugh. He graduated from Oark High School, served in the United States Army, and received his bachelor's degree from Long Beach State University. He was a teacher, basketball coach, and worked and retired as a store manager at Montgomery Wards.
Ken was a loving, caring husband to his wife, Leta, for 64 years before her passing in 2021. He is survived and beloved by their daughter, Pamela (Arbaugh) Torres, his son in-law, David Torres, his grandson, Zachary Torres (wife, Breana), his granddaughter, Rebecca Torres; his sister, Judy James; and many other dear family members. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Leta (Turner) Arbaugh; brothers, James Arbaugh and Carl Arbaugh; and sister, Ruby Vaught.
Ken loved just being with his family, silly jokes, gardening, and reading American history and westerns. He enjoyed gospel music, watching Razorbacks sports, and working with his hands. He could fix and build anything. He and Leta loved to travel and visited many states and national parks. He was her devoted caregiver as she battled Parkinson's for many years. Ken and his daughter, Pam, were very close, especially these past few years, and took many scenic drives together enjoying the beautiful countryside. His great joys were his grandchildren, Zach and Becca, and he attended their every life event, especially ''enthusiastically'' cheering them on in basketball.
A memorial service will be held on March 7, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
