I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I knew the absolute words to offer comfort to you all. I knew Rachel for almost 20 years. And even on her bad days, she could always make those around her laugh. Her smile was contagious , and not even her life struggles could keep her from spreading it around. I know that she absolutely did not want people to be saddened when it was her time to go home , she told me this often. It was so very important to her that the ones that she loved remember her and smile. This is what she so badly wanted people to know . And for Rachel, I will always remember her and smile that I knew her while she was here , and carry the memories always now that she is gone. She had a heart of a lion, and courage of an army. Today she is wrapped tightly in angels wings and if I'm silent for a minute , I can see her smiling still.
