Mary Edith Kerr Ausbrooks, age 88, of East End, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Heartland Rehabilitation and Care Center with her family by her side. Mary was born on September 1, 1937, in Quitman, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Vernon and Martha Leona Clay Kerr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Eddie Reynolds; brothers, Hubert Kerr, Billy Ray Kerr, Wilcher Kerr, Charles Kerr, and Edwin Wayne Kerr.
Mary loved her family first and foremost. She enjoyed gospel music, working puzzles, watch the birds and squirrels in the yard, fishing and she loved her dog, Tiny.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Ralph Ausbrooks of the home; son, Tony Ausbrooks (Pauline) of Sheridan; daughters, Connie Reynolds of East End and Vicki Shaw (Lee) of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Angie Holiman (Jason), Wendy Ausbrooks, Leslie Lucas (Chris),Faith Ann Kramer (Michael), Holden Reynolds (Briony), Zack Fletcher, Jesse Fletcher, Aaron Shaw, Sara Shaw, and Joshua Shaw (Allie); 16 great-grandchildren with a little girl soon to come, Kya Marie Kramer; sister, Helen Williams and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR (501) 455-5800. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.

Mary was a sweetheart. She was always so nice to us. She made the world’s best peanut brittle, that she shared with us regularly. She treated Reagan like a granddaughter. Angels really do walk the earth.. Rest in peace Mary.
