Richard ''Rick'' Davis, 67, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026.

Born on August 20, 1958, in Hobart, Indiana, to Jean (Diederich) and William Davis, Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University of Lafayette. We are heartbroken to hear that Rick has passed. So many memories of fun times with Rick and Barb at school functions, Birthdays etc…. Mike and Connor of course got to spend much more time with Rick on Boy Scout functions, and says that Rick was for sure who he would pick to have along on a trip to the woods if lost or in distress. Says he knew the woods and trails and knew how to navigate them safely. Our love and prayers for Barb, Kali and Nathan and all the rest of the Davis family . May God Bless each of you during this most difficult time.

One of my favorites memories with Mr. Davis was when Nathan and I were still dating and we went to go get Andy’s for everyone. I asked Dad what he wanted and he said, a Large Triple Chocolate Concrete! He was, and still is the only man I’ve ever known to be able to eat a large triple chocolate and loved enjoying a treat with his family as much as I do! I’ll never forget the look of pride on his face when we got to tell him we were expecting Ezra, seeing the look of joy on his face when he met him was priceless. Any time I was over, Dad D and I had the best conversations about how the Arkansas Razorbacks were doing, the Chicago Bears, and how much he loved the outdoors.

A couple things about Mr. Davis I really admired was that he was a humble man and had a servants heart. Anytime someone would bring up how he served his community through the fire department he never made a big deal out of it. Seeing him help their neighbors over the years, he never made a big deal out of it because he always knew it was the right thing to do.

He has the same gentle, warm soft smile that Nathan has and I’m so grateful that his grandson, Ezra, got to meet his Opa and will have a small piece of his legacy through his middle name, William! We can’t wait to take Ezra on outdoor adventures to enjoy God’s beautiful creation as much as Dad D did!

May you rest in peace Dad Davis with our Heavenly Father. We feel so much peace knowing you are fully healed and in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will love you forever and can’t wait to see you again in Heaven one day! Enjoy an Old Style for us, we love you Dad!

Dad, I will always remember the adventures we went on though life together. From the first responder calls I was with you for to seeing your first North Dakota buffalo together.

I always thought you were a super hero as a child. Watching to run towards the chaos to help others no matter what that meant for yourself. As I grew up and be came an adult I truly saw how much of a super hero you truly were in everything you did.

I have so many fond memories of our times together. The laughs and tears we shared. All the meteor showers you woke me up for since I was 4. All the random places we wound up because of some history you just had to see in person. It sparked that sense in me and I'm so glad your memories can live on though myself and my siblings to be passed down to all your grandbabies.

I wish you could have met Max. You would have loved him as much as Liam. I'll never forget when I saw you melt holding new born Liam. You are such an amazing person Dad. I will forever miss you and I can't wait to see you again and give you a big hug and tell you how much I love you.
