of Bentonville, AR
February 12, 1962 - February 3, 2026
Victor B. Norvell, age 63, of Bentonville, passed away Tuesday, February 3, at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born February 12, 1962, in Harrison Arkansas, to Roy Dean Norvell and Lilly Jo Norvell. Victor was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifton and Marie Norvell, Murphy McElroy and Willodean McElroy Sutton, by his parents and his brother, Anthony "Tony" Craig Norvell.
Victor was a devoted husband, father, brother and ''Papa Rock''. He worked in logistics at Federal Express. He was known in college by his nickname ''Rock'' for his size, strength and ability to persevere through any obstacle. He was athletically talented, excelled at basketball and baseball, and played through college and into adulthood. He was an artist with an eye for design, talented with colors and composition. Victor held himself, and others, to a high standard, always doing what he felt was right, even when it was hard. Those closest to him knew how much he valued family, especially the bond and fun rivalry he shared with his brother, Tony. His grandchildren, who he loved dearly, would turn this big strong man into a teddy bear. He would go to any length for a giggle, throwing them in the air, playing catch in the living room or even the car.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda (Skelton) Norvell; his daughters, Chelsea Nix (Ray); and Leah Harris (Raymond); his son, Ethan Riggenbach (Whitney); his sister, Kathryn Norvell; and seven grandchildren, Madelyn, Lucas, Jacquelyn, Carter, Kennedy, Hudson, and Quinn. He is also survived by beloved aunts and uncles, Emma and Terry Carson, Elaine and Ben Thompson, Ernie McElroy, Susie and Joel Keeter.
Visitation was Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
A graveside service was held Monday, February 9, 2026, at Maplewood Cemetery, with Mike Bishop and Henry Bateman officiating.
Joel Keeter, Ethan Riggenbach, Raymond Harris and Ray Nix served as pallbearers.

So very sorry to hear this. Tony, Victor & Kathy all three such wonderful individuals both inside and out. Wonderful memories. Love and a hug Kathy🙏💕

I went to valley with Victor I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderfully charming, polite gentleman. A true gift to have known him

We graduated together in 1980. One of my favorite memories was helping him get to his next class when he was using crutches. I carried his books. He was a kind individual and a great athlete. It saddens me to learn of his passing.
Prayers for all of his loved ones. And my sincere condolences.
