Eddie Arnold Kimbriel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 1, 2026. Eddie was born on February 21, 1946, in Oark, Arkansas to Volley and Hattie Kimbriel.
Eddie and his wife Paula were childhood friends but began dating in the fall of 1965. They got married shortly afterwards, on August 19, 1966. They welcomed their first son, Travis, eleven months later on July 16, 1967. The surprise of their lives came 20 years later when their second son, Jordan was born. They led full lives together for almost 60 years, being blessed with both grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eddie enjoyed fishing, playing cornhole, watching the Razorbacks, bowling, and spending time with his family. He was a Christian and attended Hedgeway Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Mervin, Melvin, Joyce, Doy, Dorthy Fay, Delores, Larry and Garry. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Paula Kimbriel, and his sons Travis (Lois) Kimbriel, and Jordan (Amanda) Kimbriel. His grandchildren Ashley (Zach) Cremer, Mackenzie (Brody) Wilhelms, Ellie and Bennett Kimbriel; his Great-Grandchildren Eli and Madi Cremer, and Livi Kate Wilhelms, along with numerous friends and family. While his family and friends will miss him deeply here on Earth, we take comfort knowing he is now with Jesus.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Roller Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 5, at Hedgeway Church with Pastor Don Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at the Oark Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Cummins, Gabriel Harderson, Eric Houston, Doyle Arbaugh, Kelly Lee, and Julius Mayes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zach Cremer, Brody Wilhelms, Jackie Kimbriel, Leonard Kimbriel, Derek Harderson, and Nathan Harderson.

I am so lucky to have had Eddie as a friend. We had a lot of good times at Sherwood Bowl. Eddie had a great sense of humor. I'll always remember his smile, and what a kind man he was. My condolences to his wife and to Travis and Jordan and their families.

So sorry for your loss. May the Lord give you peace and comfort.

I have known Eddie for many years. We bowled together for many years. Not on the same team, but in the same league. He was a good friend and a good man. Prayers for the family during this time.
