Glenda Sue Lackey, 81, of Cash, AR, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at The Blossoms of White River in Newport. She was born on December 10, 1944, in Cash, AR to Clyde Bond and Clarcia Ruth (Troxler) Holman. Glenda was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She loved Bingo, bird watching, getting her hair and nails done, flowers, with Easter lilies being her favorite, and animals, especially her dog Sugar and her cat Sally.
Glenda was truly the life of the party. She had a spirited way about her, always getting into something, whether mischievous or meaningful, and she never failed to bring laughter wherever she went. Known as the instigator with a heart of gold, she had a gift for making people smile and creating unforgettable moments. And with that signature wink that always hinted she was up to something; she brought joy and charm to every room she entered. Her vibrant personality will be deeply missed, but her legacy of laughter and love will live on in all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Richard ''Rusty'' Lackey, her parents, and siblings Frankie Holman, Doyle Holman, Edward Holman, JR Holman, Billy Raye Holman, Bonnie Pierce, and Mildred Odell.
Those left to remember Glenda are her daughter Lisa (Mike) Allen; grandchildren Sheena (Kyle) Gammon and Orrie Allen; great grandchildren Madison, Connor, Nate, and Blaise; her twin sister Linda Holman Montgomery and sister Shirley Holman Presley; and many more family, friends, and loved ones.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 1pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mike Allen, Orrie Allen, Kyle Gammon, Dylan McLeod, Jason McLeod, and Danny Allen.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Aunt Glenda Sue was one of a kind. She always would get so excited when she would see me. It made me feel special. She was loved by many & will be missed by many.
