Jimmy Thornton Ginn Sr., 71 years old was called home from Crawfordsville, Arkansas on January 23, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1955, in Parkin, Arkansas to Calvin T. Ginn and Edna Mae Brewer Ginn Ross.
Jimmy was the youngest of a very large, close and loving family. He was an avid outdoors man and hunter. He felt his greatest peace being in nature. He was very generous with his time helping his family and friends. He will be greatly missed!
Those left to cherish his memory; his son Jimmy ''Thorton'' Ginn Jr. who was his pride and joy. Two brothers Edd Ginn of Gilbert, AZ, and Glen Ross of Omaha, NE. Five sisters; Mary Jane Ginn of Arlington, TX, Donna Ginn of West Memphis, AR, Sandra Ross of West Memphis, AR, Rita Holland of Heber Springs, AR, and Anna Ross of Fayetteville, AR. His best friend ''Hunting Bubby'' Dean Stiles. Along with a multitude of loving family and friends who will forever hold him dear to their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a very special dad, David Ross, eight brothers; JT Ginn, James Ginn, Bill Ginn, JD Ginn, Frank Ginn, Carlos Ginn, O'Neal Ginn, and Hubert Ginn; four sisters; Mettie Ginn Philpott, Elva Ginn Scott, Eva Ginn Crouch and Patricia Ginn Row.

Thou wilt show me the path of life; in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Ps 16:11 Jimmy gave many opportunities to recall his love and generosity for loved ones and friends—hold to those memories until we see him again, for his trials are over. Rest in peace beloved one🕊️
