Margaret Ann Samples, 73, of Jonesboro, formally of West Memphis, AR, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on June 8, 1952, in Jackson, TN, to Raymond Perry and Emma Pauline (Coble) Isbell. Margaret was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church. After retiring as a paralegal, she spent time doing the things she loved, which were traveling, reading, and being a Pink Lady at NEA. Her greatest joy, however, came from being with her grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Samples; her parents; brothers, Tommy Isbell, Joe Isbell, Larry Isbell and Charles Isbell.
Those left to remember Margaret are daughter Emmie (Brian) Foster; grandchildren, Conner and Kenlee; brother Billy (Margaret) Isbell; sister Ivonne (Bill) Shaeffer; and many friends, church family, and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:30pm at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR, with Brady Canright officiating.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:30am at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401.

Emmie, I'm so sorry. I wished I could have been there for you. Nothing prepares us for these times. Aunt Margaret was always so fun and up for anything. I know Uncle Larry was so excited to have her by his side again. I will miss her so much. Im continuing to pray for you all, Love you.

So very sorry for the family’s loss. I remember many fun times growing up going to Rutherford to our grandmother’s home. Thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
