of Conway, AR
November 26, 1936 - January 26, 2026
Sherrill Bradley Breeding, 89, of Conway, Arkansas, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026. Born on November 26, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, he spent his life faithfully loving his family, following Jesus, serving his country as a US Army veteran and maintaining a lawn that could have graced the cover of a landscaping magazine, provided he approved the angle.
Sherrill was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marcille Breeding, whom he adored beyond words and missed every single day since her passing. Their reunion in heaven is surely sweet. He is also preceded in death by his parents Buck and Leola Breeding, two brothers, Frank and Larry Breeding and one granddaughter, Kali Sparks.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sonya (Larry Joe) Smith and Rhonda (Michael) Sparks, who were the pride of his life; a well loved group of grandchildren who brought him endless joy: Sara Kathryn Bowers (husband Evan), Amy Smith (husband Cory), Natalie Reese, and Bradley Claassen (wife Lydia) as well as his great grandchildren: Ellis, Matilda, Ileybeth, Lynnley, Olivia, Reed, Mary Kate, and Maddox, each of whom added a new sparkle to his smile.
A devoted member of Robinson and Center church of Christ, Sherrill lived out his faith with steadiness and humility. He was such a generous man, always willing to help however he could. He cherished time spent at the farm with his family, those were some of his happiest days. He was a perfectionist in all the best ways. His yard was immaculate, his tools exactly where he wanted them (unless someone borrowed one without asking). He found joy in the details and pride in a job done right. He worked hard, starting his own glass company. You could often see him in his chair in the garage wearing his overalls, Glass Erectors hat, drinking diet coke, smoking, and waving to his neighbors.
Most of all, Sherrill loved his people. His brother described him as the hub of the Breeding family. His family was the heart of his world. His presence made every gathering a little warmer, a little funnier, and a lot more meaningful.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know him. His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the memories he created with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 on February 2nd, 2026 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 2:00. Family graveside burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are as follows: Bradley Claassen, Larry Smith, Michael Sparks, Evan Bowers, Cory Smith and Steve Breeding
