Freeda Fern Bean, 84, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Paris. She was born on April 8, 1941 in Paris to her parents, Horace and Lillian (Cooksey) Rice.
Freeda was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved to cook and share recipes with her family and friends and go shopping.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Velda Cooley, Orene Gattis and Joyce Rice; three brothers, Jerald Rice, Arlen Rice and Garlen Rice and her grandson, Jason Miller.
She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Garrison and husband Joe of New Blaine, Tara Bean of Paris and Kierra Mojeres and husband Marion of Branson, Missouri; three sons, Rodger James and wife Sharon of Magazine, Russell James and wife Sarah of Paris and Ruben Brandon Parrott of Paris; her significant other of over 38 years, James Bean of Paris; one sister, Elsie Hanan of Russellville; 17 grandchildren, Billy Garcia and wife Elisha, Thomas Garcia and wife Lesli, Rodger James II, Joseph James, Preston James, Dennis James, Tasha Harris, Jamie Harris, Joey Harris, David Harris, Kayla Lensing, Brandon Parrott, Peyton Parrott, Kristen Vance, Rachel Cox, David Caldwell and Maverick Mojeres and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel officaited by Pastor Kellie Sprick. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Baxley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Freda was a great friend and giving lady to all who knew her. All tho we haven’t seen her in a while I consider a life long friend

Freda and I were neighbors and I was at her house a lot. We went to First Assembly and doubled dated together.She was a very good friend. I’m sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers for the family.

Miss Freda was always there for me. She will be missed immensely.

Oh grandma how I love you - you taught me how to love others and II know I get my love of cooking from you. (I try to feed everybody) without out you I wouldn’t know Jesus, thank you gramma for blessing my life with love. Fly away, I’ll meet you on the other side… for one more bowl of cabbage.
