Caleb Scott Sackhoff

of Conway, AR

August 21, 1995 - January 22, 2026

Caleb Scott Sackhoff, 30, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, January 22, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1995, in Conway, Arkansas to Jeffrey and Annette Sackhoff.

Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Don Sackhoff and Vivian Sackhoff; and maternal grandmother Jenetta Murphy.

Caleb loved cooking, being outdoors, working out every day, deer hunting, duck hunting, and working on his truck. He especially enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Allie Harvey. He was sweet-natured, kindhearted and hard working. He was also a perfectionist in everything, and he will forever be remembered for his fun antics and sense of humor.

Caleb was a Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout, who also completed the Triple Crown Patch. He graduated with honors from Conway High School in 2013. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Management, cum laude, and with an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, cum laude. While at Arkansas Tech he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Caleb joined the Maumelle, Arkansas Fire Department in August 2024 and proudly served the community as a member of Engine Company 1 (B-Shift). He was a graduate of Firefighter Standards Class 2024-E at the Arkansas Fire Training Academy, where he earned the Academic Achievement Award. He was a nationally licensed Emergency Medical Technician and a member of the International Association of Firefighters.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother Kyle (Rachel) Sackhoff and niece Ruth of Conway, maternal grandfather Gene Murphy of Pea Ridge, aunts and uncles Becky (Troy) Welch of Rogers, Richard (Holly) Sackhoff of Wichita, Kansas, Tamara (Steve) McMillan of Conway; Debra (Rick) McLay of Topeka, Kansas, several cousins, and a host of friends.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We truly loved Caleb. He and Austin a lot of time together, and Caleb was always willing to help, always ready to chat, and never missed a chance to say hello to our son or share about his niece. He spoke often about his mom and dad, and it was so clear how much he loved his family.

I remember when he had just started dating his girlfriend — only a couple months in — and Austin told me how serious he already was about her. I didn’t know him as well as some, but I knew him to be genuine, loyal, and all-in with the people he cared about.

We wish we had more time with him. Things like this are so hard to understand, but we trust that God sees the bigger picture. We pray Caleb is remembered for the goodness he brought into every room, and that his life draws many closer to the Lord.

Praying for comfort, peace, and protection over all who love him.

Mason, who is a firefighter in Lodi, CA, learned of Caleb’s death through professional networks and shared word with us here. We’ve reminisced about shared family times in the boys junior high years and can only hope these and the many other memories provide all comfort in the time to come. You will remain in our thoughts.

Caleb was always such a sweet kind-hearted person! He was always so nice to me in school. I lost one of my sons 6/26/25 and although he was much younger than Caleb, losing a child is a very hard thing to endure. My heart is with you all! I bet Sawyer has talked his ears off, he was very fond of power-lines and utility trucks but I made him a Valentine’s Day box for his party last year and it was a fire station box with fire trucks and he absolutely loved it

Caleb was such a sweet person and he always had a smile on his face and ready to joke with you. I was proud of him and will deeply miss him. Rest easy my sweet nephew.
