Leon Weldy, 92, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 in Clarksville. Leon was born, May 6, 1933 in California. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean war and worked for the National Parks Service at Yosemite National Park. He was a member of the Moose and Elk lodge in California and enjoyed traveling up and down the west coast camping and going fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of sixty-four plus years, Laura (Abel) Weldy; a daughter, Jackie Zlokovich; a son, Russell Weldy; two sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his two sons, Vince Weldy and wife, Sue of Kelsyville, California and Earl Weldy of Clarksville, Arkansas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
There are no service arrangements planned at this time. The family will have a private service later in California.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
